Consultancy  

We provide consultancy in Eddy Current, Magnetic Particle and Ultrasonic techniques of NDT.

The basic background in Metallurgical Engineering helps in providing consultancy to the metal industry to: 

    a) improve product quality,  

    b) to decide the correct method of testing, 

    c) to conduct failure analyses and 

    d) to write quality control procedures

Consultancy in evaluation of eddy current signals for pre/ in-service inspection of steam generator, heat exchanger tubes used in power plants, in particular Nuclear power plants is also undertaken.

Consultancy for UT for analysis of C-Scan data (images of composites used in aviation industry among others) is also provided.

We consult on the purchase of appropriate NDT equipment and systems. The scope of enagagement may cover formulation of  equipment specification to liasoning with the manufacturer for the purchase of correct and suitable equipment at a reasonable price.

Application engineering support is also provided for correct and efficient use of equipment/ systems and training is given to use the equipment for a specific application.

Training

Training of personnel for Level I and Level II as per SNT-TC-1A and Eddysonic 001. The training is either at our place or In-house (Clients Premises). 

In-house training with the client's equipment/ system is popular and our specialty during such training is 

    a) Additional Exposure to relevant NDT Techniques on your product

    b) Metallurgy Related Explanations

    c) Oriented to your need and on your system

    d) Designing your course as per your requirement

    e) Employee Participation

Another key area of our training division is an orientation for Recertification.

Testing

NDT (Non Destructive Testing) is provided using expert manpower, correct equipment and suitable cost. The ISI/ PSI of power plants is undertaken. Crack Detection, Metal segregation, Tube testing, Bars Billets testing, component testing are some other categories of testing done.

Spares and Accessories required for NDT units/ systems are provided for various models on request.

Third Party Inspection

We provide 3rd Party Inspection services in the following industries/ for the following components

    a) Welding

    b) Tube (Erw/ Seamless Steel/ Stainless Steel/ Non Ferrous)

    c) Quality Control and Heat Treatment of Auto Components such as Bearings, Forgings, Castings etc.

When we inspect your product at your suppliers premises, it is as if Your Own Inspector Inspecting It. You save on inspection and transport cost. You can also take an annual inspection contract if the location is within 100 kms of Pune.

We can also visit your customer to see how your supplies are progressing.
